Rhodes stars in the series and gave an assertion of sorts after Tyson said Hulu took his biography without paying him

The chance to depict one of the best fighters ever was a tremendous second for Trevante Rhodes, yet presently he’s at the focal point of a contention. In only fourteen days, Hulu will debut its expected series Mike, itemizing the life and encounters of Mike Tyson. The creation has been vigorously prodded for quite a long time as the streaming stage anticipates that Mike should turn into one more hit, however Tyson himself approached to upbraid the show. As per the top dog fighter, Hulu is benefitting from his existence without his authorization.

“Hulu attempted to frantically pay my sibling @danawhite millions without offering me a dollar to advance their slave driver assume control over tale about my life,” Tyson as of late composed on Instagram. “He turned it down since he respects companionship and treating individuals with poise. I will always remember how he helped me very much like I will always remember what Hulu took from me.”

In a different post, Tyson added that he doesn’t uphold the series since “they took my biography and didn’t pay me.” That’s what he added “to Hulu chiefs I’m simply a n*r they can sell on the bartering block.” Hulu has not answered Tyson’s statements, but rather Trevante Rhodes has responded to the contention.

With respect to of the most enhanced proficient fighters of all, Mike Tyson is a name that many can review, other than the unbelievable Muhammad Ali. It has been since a long time ago Tyson resigned from the game. Notwithstanding, he has kept himself in great shape yet can take out his adversary with his solid punches. In the mean time, Hulu is delivering a series in light of him to respect his praiseworthy profession, which will chief in two or three weeks. Trevante Rhodes will play the lead job of Tyson. In any case, the fighter isn’t dazzled with the series and shoots Hulu for depicting his life on-screen without consent.

Meanwhile, Rhodes responded to the entire issue and composed on his Insta handle, “I comprehend. I’m a fan too. Clearly, as Champ regarded the incomparable Alexander the Great in his manner, I honor him in mine w my knowledge, my heart and my time. Point of view is everything. Point of view is everything. What’s greater than a name? The training of a vein. Never to no end. Never to no end. Never to no end.”

York City boss claims Wrexham have player on £6,000-a-week

VANARAMA National League promotion favourites Wrexham are paying one of their goalkeepers an astonishing £6,000 per week, according to York City manager John Askey.

Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took charge of Wrexham last year and have since spent big since, according to several reports, to achieve their ownership’s Premier League status ambitions.

The Welsh club broke their record transfer fee to sign striker Ollie Palmer from AFC Wimbledon in January and are the bookmakers’ favourites to go up this season, having been beaten in last term’s play-offs and Buildbase FA Trophy final.

York boss Askey revealed the scale of Wrexham’s spending when discussing those likely to be battling it out at the top of non-league over the coming months.

“There’s a lot of big clubs in this league, Wrexham being the biggest,” Askey said, speaking at the club’s fans forum.

“They’ve just put a goalkeeper on £6,000 per week, so that tells you about the sort of money that they are spending.

“Then you’ve got Notts County, Southend, Scunthorpe and Oldham. They’re all big, old lower league clubs, so it’s going to be tough.

“I think we’re looking forward to it though. To be going to those clubs, I’m excited by it, to be going to proper grounds and to feel like a proper football club again, that feels good,” the manager added, after leading City up from the National League North play-offs back in May.

The aforementioned Notts County are also tipped to be among those fighting for a spot in Sky Bet League Two next season, having been knocked out of the play-offs by eventual promotion winners Grimsby Town last term.

Having seen manager Ian Burchnall depart for Forest Green Rovers over the off-season, Askey was installed as the bookies’ favourite for the vacant job for a short period of time, briefly as short as evens.

“I was just getting my agent to put that around,” joked Askey.

“No, it wasn’t true at all. I had no intention of going anywhere. There was no way that I’d leave for anybody in the same league as us.

Famous Japanese designer Issey Miyake dies at 84 due to liver Cancer

Issey Miyake is shown at the National Art Center in Tokyo on March 15, 2016.
Issey Miyake is shown at the National Art Center in Tokyo on March 15, 2016.

TOKYO — Issey Miyake, who built one of Japan’s biggest fashion brands and was known for his boldly sculpted pleated pieces as well as former Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ black turtlenecks, has died. He was 84.

Miyake died Aug. 5 of liver cancer, Miyake Design Office said Tuesday.

Miyake defined an era in Japan’s modern history, reaching stardom in the 1970s among a generation of designers and artists who reached global fame by defining a Japanese vision that was unique from the West.

Miyake’s origami-like pleats transformed usually crass polyester into chic. He also used computer technology in weaving to create apparel. His down-to-earth clothing was meant to celebrate the human body regardless of race, build, size or age.

Miyake even detested being called a fashion designer, choosing not to identify with what he saw as a frivolous, trend-watching, conspicuous consumption.

Again and again, Miyake returned to his basic concept of starting with a single piece of cloth — be it draped, folded, cut or wrapped.

Over the years, he took inspiration from a variety of cultures and societal motifs, as well as everyday items — plastic, rattan, “washi” paper, jute, horsehair, foil, yarn, batik, indigo dyes and wiring.

He sometimes evoked images of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin, or collaborated with Japanese painter Tadanori Yokoo in images of monkeys and foliage in vibrant, psychedelic hues.

He also collaborated with furniture and interior designer Shiro Kuramata, photographer Irving Penn, choreographer and director Maurice Bejart, pottery maker Lucie Rie and Ballet Frankfurt.

In 1992, Miyake was commissioned to design the official Olympic uniform for Lithuania, which had just gained independence from the Soviet Union.

Born in Hiroshima in 1938, Miyake was a star as soon as he hit the European runways. His brown top, which combined the Japanese sewn fabric “sashiko” with raw silk knit, was splashed on the cover of the September 1973 issue of Elle magazine.

Miyake was also a pioneer in gender roles, asking feminist Fusae Ichikawa in the 1970s — when she was in her 80s — to be his model, sending the message that garments must be comfortable and express the natural beauty of real people.

Although he made clothes that went beyond the mundane, appearing to reach for the spiritual, he made a point to never get pretentious, always approving of the T-shirt-and-jeans look.

“Designing is like a living organism in that it pursues what matters for its well-being and continuity,” Miyake once wrote in his book.

His office confirmed a private funeral had already been held and other ceremonies will not be held in accordance with Miyake’s wishes. Miyake kept his family life private, and survivors are not known

Serena Williams pens ‘The Hardest Part’ to say farewell to tennis

Serena Williams is gearing up to say goodbye to professional tennis after serving up inspiration to the sports world for more than two decades.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner penned a new personal essay for Vogue magazine revealed exclusively on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, titled “The Hardest Thing” to say farewell to the game in her own way and in her own words.

Serena Williams pens ‘The Hardest Part’ to say farewell to tennis

Williams said she hates the word retirement, writing: “The best word to describe what I’m up to is evolution. I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me.”

The former No. 1 ranked women’s tennis player and four-time Olympic gold medalist said there is “no happiness in this topic for me” as she wants to focus on family and her business investment empire. Williams explained that she doesn’t feel she can do that while also playing tennis.

“But these days, if I have to choose between building my tennis résumé and building my family, I choose the latter … In the last year, Alexis and I have been trying to have another child, and we recently got some information from my doctor that put my mind at ease and made me feel that whenever we’re ready, we can add to our family. I definitely don’t want to be pregnant again as an athlete. I need to be two feet into tennis or two feet out,” Williams wrote.

Williams’ tech investment firm, Serena Ventures, has helped invest early in businesses including MasterClass, Tonal and Noom. The firm launched earlier this year with an inaugural $111 million early-stage venture capital fund and 78% of their companies’ portfolios have been founded by women and people of color.

Williams continued, “I don’t particularly like to think about my legacy. I get asked about it a lot, and I never know exactly what to say. But I’d like to think that thanks to opportunities afforded to me, women athletes feel that they can be themselves on the court.”

The 40-year-old tennis superstar turned pro at just 14 in 1995 and notched her first career Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 1998.

Although this is the closest she’s come to a possible retirement, it’s not the end for the champ just yet. Williams scored her first tournament singles win in over a year at the WTA National Bank Open in Toronto and plans to play in the U.S. Open in New York City.

“I’m not looking for some ceremonial, final on-court moment. I’m terrible at goodbyes, the world’s worst,” she wrote. “But please know that I am more grateful for you than I can ever express in words. You have carried me to so many wins and so many trophies. I’m going to miss that version of me, that girl who played tennis. And I’m going to miss you.”

A new type of animal-derived Henipavirus has so far infected people in Shandong and Henan provinces of China | New zoonotic virus hits China, 35 people infected

Outbreak of new Langya Henipavirus at China

‘Cases of Langya henipavirus so far have not been fatal or very serious, so there is no need for panic’

A new type of animal-derived Henipavirus has so far infected people in Shandong and Henan provinces of China, official media here reported on Tuesday.

The new type of Henipavirus (also named Langya henipavirus, LayV) was found in throat swab samples from febrile patients in eastern China, state-run Global Times quoted media reports.

Scholars who participated in the study pointed out that this newly discovered Henipavirus, which may have come from animals, is associated with some febrile cases, and the infected people have symptoms including fever, fatigue, cough, anorexia, myalgia, and nausea.

There is currently no vaccine or treatment for Henipavirus and the only treatment is supportive care to manage complications.

What is Langya henipavirus?

The Langya henipavirus, which has been found in China’s Shandong and Henan provinces, can be transmitted from animals to humans.

Human-to-human transmission of the virus has not been reported however at the same time he said that CDC has yet to determine whether the virus can be transmitted among humans and cautioned people to pay close attention to further updates about the virus, Chuang said.

Providing details of the serological survey conducted on domestic animals, he said that 2 percent of the tested goats and 5 percent of the tested dogs were positive.

The cases of Langya henipavirus so far have not been fatal or very serious, so there is no need for panic, Wang Linfa, a Professor in the Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases at Duke-NUS Medical School who was involved in the study said, adding that it is still a cause for alert as many viruses that exist in nature have unpredictable results when they infect humans.

Further investigation found that 26 out of 35 cases of Langya Henipavirus infection in Shandong and Henan provinces have developed clinical symptoms such as fever, irritability, cough, anorexia, myalgia, nausea, headache and vomiting, the report said.

From where Henipavirus came from?

Henipavirus was founded first in Shandong and Henan provinces of China.

What are the Symptoms of Henipavirus?

The people infected with Henipavirus have developed clinical symptoms such as fever, irritability, cough, anorexia, myalgia, nausea, fatigue, headache and vomiting.

How many people died due to Langya Henipavirus so far?

Till 9th August none of the patients have died or suffered serious illness, it’s a virus that hasn’t infected human beings prior to this outbreak , so there are a lot of unknowns.

What are the Effects or consequences of Langya Henipavirus?

The main consequences showed a decrease in white blood cells, low platelet count, liver failure and kidney failure.

Where was the virus first detected?

A study titled “A Zoonotic Henipavirus in Febrile Patients in China” that was published in the New England Journal of Medicine on Thursday said that a new henipavirus associated with a fever-causing human illness was identified in China.

The investigation identified 35 patients with acute infection of the Langya henipavirus in China’s Shandong and Henan provinces, and that 26 of them were infected with the Langya virus only, with no other pathogens

What is WHO’s point of view on this Langya Henipavirus?

Being under the Henipavirus umbrella, it has the potential to do some serious damage … WHO data classifies Henipavirus with a 40-75% fatality rate.

The symptoms might look all too familiar : fever, headache, cough, fatigue, etc.

report by the New England Journal of Medicine says the infected patients had a history of being in contact with animals … however, it’s now possible the virus has already been transmitted from human to human.

Anne Heche remains in critical condition as police continue to investigate her car crash | Actress Anne Heche is in a coma after crashing car into home

Actress Anne Heche is in a coma after crashing car into home

Actress Anne Heche has fallen into a coma and remains in “extreme critical condition” days after she crashed her car into a Los Angeles home, causing both to erupt into flames, a representative told news outlets on Monday.

“She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention,” Michael McConnell, a Heche representative, told Reuters and other news outlets. “She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”

On Friday around 10:55 a.m., a car crashed into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood, causing a “heavy fire,” the Los Angeles Fire Department said. Heche, 53, was pulled from the car, a Mini Cooper, and transported to a hospital.

It took 59 firefighters and 65 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which caused major damage, according to the fire department.

A woman was inside the home during the crash but was not injured, CNN reported. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the woman, who “lost her entire lifetime of possessions,” according to the fundraiser statement.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the crash, including the possibility that Heche may have been driving under the influence, Officer Norma Eisenman, a spokeswoman, confirmed to The Washington Post. A warrant for the actress’s blood was obtained the day of the incident, Eisenman said. As of early Tuesday, Heche had not been charged with any crime.

Heche’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.

Heche’s acting career took off after she appeared on the soap opera “Another World” beginning in the 1980s, and she later starred in films including “Donnie Brasco” and “Six Days Seven Nights.” She dated Ellen DeGeneres for 3½ years beginning in the late 1990s, in a relationship that attracted intense public attention.

Shortly before the crash on Friday, around 10:35 a.m., Heche bought a wig at a salon in Venice, the salon’s owner, Richard Glass, told the Los Angeles Times, adding that she was in good spirits and did not appear to be intoxicated.

TMZ reported that Heche crashed her vehicle into the garage of an apartment building that same morning. The media outlet obtained video it says shows her peeling off after the collision, though the footage is not time-stamped.

Surveillance footage from 10:53 a.m. that day, obtained by CBSLA and TMZ, shows Heche’s blue Mini Cooper speeding through Mar Vista just before crashing into the house, according to the outlets.

David Manpearl, a neighbor of the destroyed home, told the Times he was at his desk on Friday morning when he saw a car speed past his window. He heard a crash moments later. Manpearl ran out of his house and down the street, where he saw a car had driven through the front of his neighbor’s house and was wedged in the back wall, he told the Times. Going inside, he saw a barefoot occupant in the middle of her kitchen, asking for help with her pets, he told the paper.

“She couldn’t move because the ceiling had come down, so there was all kinds of debris everywhere,” Manpearl said, adding that he helped the house’s occupant get to safety — and tried to help Heche.

“It got to a point where there was fire everywhere. It was all around us,” Manpearl told the Times. “It had spread from the car to the house and the smoke was getting thick. I kept hoping that the fire department was there, but it hadn’t come yet, and eventually I had to leave the house for my own safety.”

Heche was transported to the hospital with severe injuries, and CBSLA reported the wrecked blue Mini Cooper was later pulled out of the house.

“Over the weekend a representative stated that Anne was in stable condition but that information was inaccurate. She has always remained in critical condition, slipping into a coma following the accident,” a spokesperson for Heche told CNN in a statement Monday. “She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention. She is currently being treated at the Grossman Burn Center.”

Earlier Monday, CNN reported that Heche is under investigation for misdemeanor DUI and hit and run, according to LAPD Officer Annie Hernandez.

Investigators obtained a warrant for a blood draw on the day of the incident. They are still awaiting those results, Hernandez said. Once the investigation is complete, the case will be referred to the LA City Attorney’s office, Hernandez added.

Heche’s representative told CNN she has not been able to meet with investigators yet as a result of her injuries.

Meantime, friends of the woman whose home was destroyed in the crash say she “narrowly escaped physical harm.”

Lynne Mishele was inside her residence where Heche crashed and fire broke out, officials told CNN. Neighbors John and Jennifer Durand have started a GoFundMe for Mishele to help her rebuild her life.

In the description for the fundraiser, the Durands state that Mishele lost everything, except for a “few damaged sentimental belongings.”

“Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire,” the GoFundMe states. “Lynne and her family very narrowly escaped physical harm, and for that we are very, very grateful. The home, however, was completely burned.”

Roy Morgen, another neighbor of Mishele, told CNN affiliate KCAL/KCBS that Heche’s car stopped about “two feet away from where she was sitting.”

Offering centrist alternative, ex-councilman poses long-shot challenge to Ilhan Omar | Minnesota voters to decide winners in primary election battles

(R) Don Samuels, Democratic candidate for Minnesota’s 5th Congressional district. (L) Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. at a House Education and Labor Committee hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington.

A former Minneapolis city councilman running on a centrist, pro-Israel platform will seek to pull off a long-shot bid to unseat progressive Rep. Ilhan Omar in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

Don Samuels, 72, out-fundraised Omar in the second quarter of this year and received endorsements from the state’s largest newspaper, the Star Tribune, and from Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. However, pro-Israel and mainstream Jewish organizations, who’ve poured millions into various Democratic primaries this year, have avoided investing for a second straight election in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional district after funneling millions into the campaign of Omar’s last challenger only to see him lose by 20 points.

Little polling has been conducted ahead of the primary, but a June survey from Change Research showed Omar in a commanding lead with 60% of the vote compared to Samuels’s 21%.

Nonetheless, Samuels is convinced he presents a preferred alternative for residents of Minneapolis and the surrounding suburbs, who are not as far to the left on a variety of issues as their two-term congresswoman has been.

In a recent interview with The Times of Israel, the 72-year-old Jamaica native pointed to a proposal rejected by 56% of Minneapolis voters last November that would have seen the city’s police department replaced with a “public-health oriented” Department of Public Safety. The initiative — rejected by 78% of Black voters — was backed by Omar, who became the first Somali-American elected to Congress in 2018.

“She was out of touch with the community she was claiming to protect, and she was out of touch with the voters in general,” Samuels said. “It’s reflective of a problem that she has, which caused me to run because she has alienated several groups.”

He said Omar alienated the African-American community by supporting efforts to defund the police, has put off construction workers over her opposition to US President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill, and has alienated the Jewish community over her comments and record on Israel.

Omar has fought off accusations of antisemitism from pro-Israel organizations since entering Congress, particularly after she suggested that Jewish money was behind American officials’ support for Israel. The lawmaker subsequently apologized and said she was studying “the painful history of antisemitic tropes.”

Omar became one of the first Congress members to publicly back the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS) targeting Israel.

“This sends a message to the enemies of Israel that they have friends in the United States and leadership,” Samuels lamented. “Israel is our friend in the region and our strategic partner in many areas like medicine and technology. We can’t send a mixed message about our relationship with Israel, and we can’t send a message that Israel is the bad guy in this conflict.”

Samuels said he backs a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — a framework Omar has also supported in the past. Samuels said he visited Israel on a 28-day religious pilgrimage in 2003.

Omar sought to travel to Israel and the West Bank along with Rep. Rashida Tlaib in 2019 but they both were barred by then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said the progressive lawmakers were seeking to use the visit “to strengthen the boycott and negate Israel’s legitimacy.”

Samuels argued that lone voices within the Democratic party who don’t toe a line in favor of Israel would hamper US efforts to serve as an objective broker.

“When our government says, ‘We are a friend of Israel, and we’re negotiating for a two-state solution,’ [it’s important] that we all speak with one voice, so we don’t give the other side negotiating leverage on the fantasy that they have in Congress significant support to demonize Israel and to create sainthood on their side,” he said.

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., left, and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., at a news conference, August 19, 2019 at the State Capitol in St. Paul, Minnesota, after their planned trip to Jerusalem and the West Bank was blocked by Israel. Credit to : Times of Israel 🇮🇱

Summarizing the difference between the candidates on the issue, the challenger said, “Ilhan Omar supports the Palestinian cause, while Don Samuels supports a peaceful two-state solution with freedom and justice as the ultimate goals.”

Samuels described a “deep and friendly connection” with the Jewish community, quipping that his “baptism” into the faith took place when he worked in a Jewish deli in Brooklyn shortly after immigrating to the US.

“My dad was a minister in Jamaica where antisemitism was not as present as it was in the US at the time. So [when] studying the Hebrew scripture of the Bible, the freedom to admire Jewish culture was uninhibited,” he said.

“That’s a big part of my silent motivation, silent resiliency to take on giants… as minority people have to learn to do.”

Given the dark blue nature of Omar’s District, a more centrist option would appear less palatable to voters, but Samuels argued that the incumbent represents an “extreme” voice that doesn’t benefit the Democratic party. “Our congresswoman has been the best… fundraising feature for the Republicans. When President Trump referred to Ilhan Omar, money came pouring into Republican coffers,” he claimed.

“We have a chance now to remove that kind of benefit for the Republican Party from our district, and put someone in office who is a benefit to the Democratic Party.”

Asked how he plans to appeal to younger voters, many of whom are attracted to Omar’s platform, Samuels said he seeks to present them with the results from last November’s vote to replace the Minneapolis Police Department.

“They’re very enthusiastic and spent a lot of time and energy protesting and demanding change, and they raised a lot of money right after George Floyd was killed,” he said. “There’s a lot of energy there, and we’re going to constantly hold up the rejection of that effort [to defund the police] by the African American community — ostensibly the community they were advocating for — and by the voters in the city at large.”

Samuels acknowledged and condemned some of the attacks on Omar that have highlighted her faith background but indicated that he wasn’t surprised by it. “The fact is that Ilhan is an extreme on our side, and the extremes on the other side will also have an extreme reaction to her.”

Asked if he modeled himself after one of the Democratic party’s most prominent, albeit controversial, centrists, Joe Manchin, the Omar challenger responded, “You can put me with Barack Obama and with Joe Biden.”

If elected, Samuels said he would seek to improve public safety and advance criminal justice reform.

He highlighted legislation he advanced as a councilman aimed at assisting ex-felons in securing employment along with another initiative offering vouchers to replace taillights in order to avoid tickets, which has been adopted across the country.

‘Sister Wives’ star Christine Brown explains why she’s leaving her husband Kody in a new trailer for season 17: ‘Robyn is more important’

Kody Brown and Christine

Christine and Kody Brown’s marriage will officially end during season 17, based on the trailer released on Monday.

In a clip of a conversation between the estranged pair at the beginning of the trailer Christine, 50, tells Kody, 53, “It’s been heartbreaking being your wife for years.”

In a solo confessional interview, Christine tells producers, “I feel like to Kody, Robyn’s more important.” Kody’s third wife feels like her husband has been enforcing a hierarchy among his wives for many years and his fourth wife, Robyn, is at the top.

“I agreed to be a sister wife, but I agreed to be an equal wife,” Christine says in a confessional interview clip later in the trailer.

“I have decided to leave, I’m gonna leave Kody,” Christine declares during a conversation in the trailer, though viewers can’t see who she’s talking to.

The former spouses originally announced their split to the world via Instagram posts in November of 2021.

Christine became Kody’s third spiritual wife when the former couple married in a religious ceremony that was not recognized by law in March of 1994. They have six children together: Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 24, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12.

Fans of TLC’s reality show “Sister Wives” know that Christine has continually struggled with Kody’s courtship and eventual marriage to Robyn since season one of the show, which began filming around August 2009 and aired its first episode in the fall of 2010.

On top of continually struggling with needing more attention from Kody in their relationship, in recent years there was tension between the former spouses because of where the family lived.

During season two of the show, Kody moved his four wives and 18 children out of Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada, because they were being investigated in Utah after going public with their polygamous lifestyle. In recent seasons of the show, the Brown family has lived in Flaggstaff, Arizona, where they plan to build houses on a large piece of property.

But Christine wanted to move back to Utah since polygamy was decriminalized there in 2020, as reported by the New York Times. Also in 2020, Kody’s strict rules relating to COVID-19 put a strain between him and multiple wives, including Christine.

The Brown’s isolated during COVID, with each of the children that still lived at home staying with their biological mothers. But Kody would only visit houses that followed his very strict rules which included disinfecting mail and groceries before bringing them inside, changing clothes after going out, and not traveling or visiting adult children or other wives.

As seen on “Sister Wives,” season 16, Christine broke some of these rules to visit Janelle and her kids, travel to the east coast so her daughter Ysabel could get scoliosis surgery, and visit her adult children.

Kody and his first wife Meri have been estranged for many years, so this meant that Kody was only visiting Robyn and her kids for most of the pandemic.

“I’m not ready for Christine to leave,” Robyn, who spiritually married Kody in May of 2010, said in the trailer for the new season.

“I would never do anything to this family to hurt it,” Robyn adds later in a confessional interview. “I just wish that people could see that.”

List of Kody Brown’s four wives:-

Ist Wife :- Meri Brown

2nd Wife :- Janelle Brown

3rd Wife :- Christine Brown

4th Wife :- Robyn Brown

As for Kody, he can be seen screaming in frustration during a meeting with Christine and his wives in the trailer for the new season. He tells her that she has “never tried” to have a good relationship with “other people” in the family.

‘Sister Wives’ First Look: Inside Christine’s Explosive Decision to Leave Plural Marriage

Sister Wives is back with an explosive new season, going inside Christine Brown’s dramatic decision to leave Kody Brown and their plural marriage. In a trailer released on Monday, Christine gets candid about her reasons for leaving, Kody loses his temper, and the remaining sister wives get tearful over the fallout.

“I feel like to Kody, Robyn’s more important,” Christine admits in a new clip, calling it “heartbreaking being [Kody’s] wife for years.” The two ended their 25-year spiritual marriage in November, as fans witnessed their union beginning to crumble on the show.

Now, Sister Wives picks right back up where it left off with a dramatic new season debuting on TLC on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

“You never tried to have a really good relationship with these other people!” Kody screams at one point. “And that’s the reason I’m pissed off. Man! Just a knife in the kidney after all these years. The sacrifices that I made to love you!”

Christine became Kody’s third wife in 1994 and she shares six kids with him. But in November 2021, Christine announced her decision to divorce her ex after a difficult few years.

At the time, Christine said in a statement, “Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” noting that they will “continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”

Kody also released a statement, saying, “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

Christine had been shown becoming increasingly independent in recent seasons, distancing herself from Kody and his other wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown.

“I really like living separate. I like my own space,” Christine told ET in February 2021, prior to the divorce news. “I like my own autonomy. I feel like I like me better now. And I just feel like I’ve been able to really raise my kids how I want to… I feel like as a person, I do better with a little more distance.”

As for the moment that ended things between her and Kody, Christine recalled a conversation with her own father.

“He said, ‘At what point are you going to start saying no? You’re always saying yes to everything. At what point are you going to start saying no?'” she recalled.

Noting that Kody didn’t know how to handle this sudden change in his wife, Christine said, “I think that he heard but he had no idea what to do because I’d changed so much in a blink. Everything changed and Kody withdrew and I withdrew, and we just withdrew.”

Kody was much less willing to discuss the split on camera, saying, “We can sit and say the ‘he said, she said’ until the cows come home. She’s told you things that I fundamentally disagree with and all I’m doing now is defending myself.”

He later added, “Now, I just look forward to [the] healing process, managing it and coming to a place where we’re friends again. We had this experience and that’s over and [now she can] have a good life.”

The drama will all unfold on screen this season when Sister Wives returns. In addition to Christine kicking Kody out of her home, fans will see her breaking the news to the rest of the family as she is determined to move to Utah to be with her older children. Meanwhile, COVID continues to put a strain on all the family dynamics; Christine’s daughter, Mykelti, gives birth; and Janelle buys a RV without telling Kody and moves onto their undeveloped Coyote Pass property.

‘Sister Wives’: Where Kody Brown’s 4 Marriages Stand With Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn.

With four wives, lots of drama, a catfish scandal and an impending divorce, Sister Wives has definitely had plenty of drama. The TLC reality series following polygamist Kody Brown and his wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown, has been running for 16 seasons, marking its 10-year anniversary in 2021.

Though the 53-year-old TV personality and salesman assured ET in February 2021 that “there will never be a fifth wife,” understanding the status of his current marriages can still be a challenge given recent events.

Who was first wife of Kody Brown?

Meri Brown

As Kody’s first wife, Meri and Kody married in April 1990. They share 26-year-old daughter Mariah Brown. The pair had a strong relationship until Meri’s 2015 catfishing scandal in which she entered into an online relationship with someone she thought to be a man but who turned out to be a woman. The couple went to therapy in the aftermath and have since revealed that they are no longer intimate and that Kody no longer lives in Meri’s home.

“I miss physical intimacy with him,” Meri admitted in a January 2022 reunion episode of Sister Wives

“I’m not going to ever be in a conjugal relationship with her because I’m not going to go through that emotional torture ever again,” Kody said. “There’s a point where intimacy is just damage.”

Kody added that he would never feel “safe” being intimate with Meri again, noting that it wasn’t the catfishing that led him to this decision, but rather that the catfishing “woke me up” to this truth.

Meri added that she had no plans to divorce her husband, despite the fact that they are no longer intimate, saying in the reunion special, “I don’t want to!”

“It’s been 31 years now that we’ve been married,” Meri explained. “I’m still committed. I made my choice.”

In February 2021, Kody told ET, “Meri and I are in an amiable relationship, but we’ve been literally separated for four or five years. We’re amiable, we’ve had a real struggle… I’m not mad anymore. I’m not angry anymore. I’m not hurt anymore. So, that’s progress.”

He noted at the time that he had not lived in Meri’s home in four years, though they still saw each other on a regular basis, calling their relationship an “estranged marriage.”

As of February 2021, Meri still seemed convinced that they could work through things, telling ET, “It’s really hard sometimes to be like, ‘Huh, what is it I need to change and improve on to move forward in this relationship?'” She also noted of their relationship, “We’ve never parted.”

Who was second wife of Kody Brown?

Janelle Brown

Janelle and Kody tied the knot in January 1993, marking Kody’s second marriage. Janelle had previously been married to Adam Barber — Meri’s brother — from 1988 to 1990. She and Kody share six kids together. Though they initially struggled to agree on COVID safety precautions, the couple both agreed that the pandemic brought them closer together.

In February 2021, Kody told ET, “Janelle and I, I think, are in a good place. COVID has put a real strain on our time together, but we’ve survived times like this in the past. There’s no trouble in paradise.”

Janelle agreed, also telling ET, “Kody and I have definitely had challenges this year because we’ve had to spend more time apart than we have ever, probably. So that’s definitely something I’ve had to think about and realize I still like him and want him around, so that was kind of nice. We’ve been married almost 30 years!”

Who was third wife of Kody Brown?

Christine Brown

Christine became Kody’s third wife in 1994 and she shares six kids with him. But in November 2021, Christine announced her decision to divorce her ex after a difficult few years.

At the time, Christine said in a statement, “Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” noting that they will “continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”

Kody also released a statement saying, “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

Fans got to see the split play out on the TLC show as Christine became increasingly independent in recent seasons, distancing herself from Kody and his other wives.

Who is fourth wife of Kody Brown?

Robyn Brown

Though Kody considers himself to be “spiritually married” to his four wives, he is only legally married to Robyn. The couple tied the knot in May 2010. They share three children and Robyn has three more children from a previous marriage to David Jessop. Kody’s desire to adopt Robyn’s three children from her previous marriage was ultimately the reason that Kody and Meri got legally divorced in 2014 and Kody and Robyn legally married that same year.

One big point of contention within the plural family tends to be the other three wives’ relationship with Robyn, feeling that Kody often gives his fourth wife preferential treatment.

“I see Robyn regularly because there’s been no quarantining for Robyn because she’s done no traveling,” Kody told ET in February 2021.

Many of the other wives objected to the amount of time Kody spent with Robyn in the first year of the pandemic and to the allowances she received, such as the couple having a live-in nanny.

“There’s this, sort of, pecking order,” Kody said in the February 2022 reunion special. “Meri was really hard on Janelle and then Janelle and Meri were hard on Christine, and Janelle and Meri and Christine were hard on Robyn. And Robyn’s going, ‘I didn’t do this to you. I didn’t do this. Why are you this way?’ Frankly, other than Meri, I’m not sure the others would want to be her friend.

After BTC lost its $30K benchmark earlier, long Term momentum had been negative to neutral. According to some analysts, BTC could be approaching a low cycle in the last quarter of 2022. Overall sentiment is Neutral now even as the crypto market is still volatile despite a mild recovery. Hopefully this prolonged bear market ends in August.

What is Bitcoin?

Hailed as renaissance of finances, world’s most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin is a decentralised peer-to-peer (P2P) digital currency. Decentralised means, the currency is not owned by a private bank or government! Which also means you don’t rely on a middle man or third party for transactions. The transaction is transparent and the network is open to anyone.

The Bitcoin cryptocurrency is denoted by a ₿ and abbreviated as either BTC or XBT. A Bitcoin is divisible into 8 decimal places. Smaller unit is called a millibitcoin or mBTC and the smallest unit is satoshis or sat. 100,000 satoshi equals 1 mBTC. 1000 mBTC equals 1 BTC.

Portmanteau of Bit and Coin, the digital currency uses a public ledger called Bitcoin Blockchain. The blockchain records all the transactions and broadcasts them to connected networks. All transactions are stored publicly which means it’s not anonymous.

Like all cryptocurrencies Bitcoin is an experimental token and is still very much in a developmental phase.

Who created Bitcoin?

This one’s a fodder for all sorts of intriguing conspiracy theories! The founder of Bitcoin seems to be a pseudonymous person/group of persons called Satoshi Nakamoto. There are some estimates that Satoshi’s account might be holding around 1 million bitcoins! Satoshi Nakamoto is also the name of a Nobel nominee in economic science from Japan. However the said person has never claimed to be the founder of Bitcoin. Another theory is that the first person to receive a Bitcoin must have been Satoshi. Unfortunately, that person Hal Finney passed away due to ALS in 2014.

Another conspiracy theory (even jokingly flouted by Elon Musk) is that Satoshi could be a group of companies. “Sa” from Samsung, “Toshi” from Toshiba, “Naka” from Nakamichi and “Moto” from Motorola. While we may never know who the actual founder is, we will forever be indebted for the incredible digital technology that has transformed the world.

The domain name for bitcoin.org was registered on 18 Aug 2008. The currency was first mined on 3rd Jan 2009 when Satoshi began the bitcoin network. Hal Finney received the first ten Bitcoins from Nakamoto. The first known commercial transaction of Bitcoin happened when Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas worth BTC 10,000 from Jeremy Sturdivant.

How Bitcoin works?

Bitcoin is like a virtual kuber ka khajana that is digitally mined. Bitcoin works on a public ledger known as the Bitcoin Blockchain. A blockchain is basically a chain of blocks containing Hash of the preceding block, leading upto the first Genesis block. Each block carries a specific transaction/data. Each transaction consists of inputs and outputs.

In the blockchain, Bitcoins are registered to individual Bitcoin addresses. You can create one by picking a random private key. If a private key is lost, the bitcoin network will not recognize the evidence of ownership, rendering the holdings unusable and obliviated. About 20% of the bitcoins created have been lost uptill now.

Nakamoto set up the network such that the total number of Bitcoins never exceeds 21 million. About 3 million bitcoins are still available for mining. At the current rate, the last chunk of the blocks will be mined in 2140.

How to use Bitcoin?

Technicalities aside, how does one own a bitcoin and transfer one?

You need to create a private key. That’s a first. You also need to have a wallet to hold your virtual currencies. There are 4 types of wallets – (1) Software wallets, (2) Cold storage (3) Hardware wallets and (4) Paper wallets. You can do the majority of your transactions through crypto exchanges. Bitcoin can be used for a lot of stuff. Although it is still very unconventional, quite a few countries, companies and entities have opened doors for BTC. With the advent of Metaverse, it is here to stay as all transactions in the virtual world would be based on virtual currencies of your choice.
